“Sloan is a bad guy…a really bad guy,” says Blanz. “David Jetre and his company have given me a wonderful opportunity to show what I can do with developing a character and delivering him to the screen. I’ve also written a song, When the Hammer Falls, in hopes that they can use it for this film.” An award winning songwriter whose works have been covered by Chris LeDoux, Ed Bruce and many others, Blanz is also an experienced actor who has appeared in the Brad Paisley music video “He Didn’t Have To Be”, as well as a series of Blanz’s own music videos for BlueHighways/RFD TV. In addition, Blanz has been featured in an HBO comedy pilot, six independent and student films as well as dozens of TV commercials. Blanz travels the country performing Western Americana music and presenting a series of three team-building programs based on songwriting, the American cowboy and martial arts.
